CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced the appointment Monday of Bryan Cromley to West Virginia’s 5th Family Circuit Court, Division 2, after the resignation of Rebecca Cornett.
“I appreciate Bryan’s willingness to serve during this important time,” Tomblin said. “His commitment to his community and to the law is evident. I am confident he will serve with fairness and dedication.”
Cromley received his undergraduate degree from WVU in Economics prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University.
“I’m deeply honored Governor Tomblin appointed me. I look forward to serving the people of Jackson, Mason and Wirt Counties,” Cromley said. “I will strive to provide a fair and impartial court.”
Cromley was elected for next term, but will fill the vacancy through the end of the year before beginning the elected term on Jan. 1.
