IAEGER, W.Va. — McDowell County authorities were investigating a fatal shooting Tuesday in the Coon Branch Hollow of Iaeger.
Police said Randall Lee Osborne Jr., 32, of Iaeger died of a single gunshot wound.
County Sheriff’s deputies, along with the Welch detachment of the WV State Police responded on Aug. 11 to what was initially a report of an overdose victim at a residence.
Osborne was pronounced dead at Welch Community Hospital. His death is being investigated as foul play.
