FBI offering $15K reward for information on man believed responsible for slew of robberies

WINCHESTER, Va. — The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of an unknown man believed responsible for bank robberies in West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland.

The suspect was describe as 5-feet 1-inch to 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighing between 140 and 200 pounds, and 30 to 50 years old with brown hair, medium build and light skin.

Authorities said the suspect displayed black and silver handguns and a sawed-off shotgun at the robberies, which were committed between March 2015 and Jan.2016.

Two vehicles, a dark blue older model Pontiac and a late 1990s-early 2000s silver, four-door Ford F-150 pickup truck are believed to have been used by the suspect.

The person is linked to bank robberies in Charles Town, Inwood, Martinsburg, as well as several locations in Virginia and Maryland.
