MetroNews to broadcast South Charleston at George Washington

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — As a part of the 2016 MetroNews High School Football Kickoff, MetroNews will provide a live web video broadcast at George Washington as the Patriots host South Charleston to open up the season on Thursday, August 25.

The game will stream at the MetroNews Channel of WVMetroNews.com at 7 p.m. with Fred Persinger (play-by-play), Rasheed Marshall (color analyst) and Brad Howe (sidelines) on the call.

The Northside Automotive MetroNews Statewide Sportsline with Tony Caridi, Greg Hunter and Brad Howe will also originate on the field from 6:06-7 p.m. on Thursday night.

George Washington is coming off of a 7-4 season and opening round playoff appearance in 2015, while South Charleston went 8-4 last year with a quarterfinal playoff appearance and No. 7 final ranking in the MetroNews football poll.
