BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Class AA No. 1 Bridgeport rolled to a 44-20 win over Lewis County on Thursday night to open up the high school football season.
J.T. Harris led the three-time defending state champion Indians (1-0) with 129 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries (all in the first half) — he also added a third score on a 92 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Bridgeport quarterback Gordon Swiger finished with two touchdowns in the win as well.
