Man arrested on kidnapping charges after troopers hear from Ohio police

BECKLEY, W.Va. — A tractor trailer driver was booked on kidnapping charges at the Southern Regional Jail early Sunday morning following his arrest on the West Virginia Turnpike.

State police troopers took Brandon Wilkins, 42, into custody after Ohio police pinged his cell phone location in Raleigh County.

It’s alleged Wilkins was holding a woman identified as Linda Knepp against her will. Knepp had a black eye and other marks on her when police located Wilkins.

Wilkins is being held without bail on the kidnapping charge. He’s also charged with domestic assault and domestic battery.
