Police searching for escaped inmate from Huntington Work Release Center

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Police were searching for a man Tuesday night who allegedly escaped from the Huntington Work Release Center.

According to information from the West Virginia Division of Corrections, Jesse Julian, 37, was last seen at the Steak Escape restaurant in Huntington. He escaped while on break.

Julian is serving time for a grand larceny offense in Mercer County.

Julian was described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, having brown hair and green eyes and weighing about 185 pounds.

Julian has several tattoos, including the name “Lou Lou” on his right neck, and a chicken head and a cat head facing each other with “No Fear” written beneath. He also has other tattoos on his body.
