Ohio County man convicted of 2nd-degree murder in bar death

WHEELING, W.Va. — An Ohio County man was convicted Thursday afternoon of several charges related to the murder of a man outside an East Wheeling bar last October.

After a three-day trial, Dallas Acoff was found guilty in Ohio Circuit Court of second-degree murder, three counts of wanton endangerment and malicious assault in the murder of Lemroy Coleman.

Acoff’s sentencing date was not immediately scheduled.
