Shinnston man arrested following auto-pedestrian accident Friday morning

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Police have charged a Harrison County man after they say he hit two women with a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Clarksburg Police say Timothy J. Kuplic from Shinnston, WV left a bar on Junkins Avenue early Friday morning and hit two women with his vehicle.

The victims have been identified as Mary Potts and Madeline King.

There is no word on their conditions at this time.

Kuplic is charged with DUI causing injury.

He is in North Central Regional Jail.
