Class AAA No. 1 Martinsburg (8-0) at Class AAA No. 9 Jefferson (4-3), Friday, 7 p.m.

Martinsburg had no issues with Hedgesville last week, winning 63-0.

Chelo Teneval scored two special teams touchdowns, returning a bad snap and a blocked punt, respectively, while the Bulldogs’ offense found the end zone on their first five drives.

Martinsburg defeated Hedgesville 63-0 in Week 8 of the high school football season.

Jefferson picked up their third straight win, and easily their most impressive, last week, grounding previously undefeated Class AA Fairmont Senior, 35-24.

Isaac Myers was again the catalyst, rushing for 176 yards and passing for 127 more.

RJ Ramsier caught two touchdowns for the Cougars.

The Bulldogs remain No. 1 in the WVSSAC rankings, while Jefferson is tied with Hurricane for eighth.

Martinsburg won last year’s game, 37-20.

Class AA No. 1 Bridgeport (8-0) at Class AA No. 7 Keyser (5-2), Friday, 7 p.m.

Keyser, now 10th in the SSAC rankings, was dominant at RCB last week, scoring on every offensive drive but one of a 50-7 win.

Brady Ours threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, while Camden White caught a TD pass and intercepted two passes.

Bridgeport took care of North Marion, 35-7, last week, and is first in the SSAC rankings.

The Indians’ attack was typically balanced, with Chapin Murphy leading the way with 15 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown, J.T. Harris carrying 13 times for 62 yards and two scores, and Mackenzie Holmes accounting for 11 rushes, 38 yards, and a TD.

Koby Kiefer also made field goals from 37 and 45 yards.

Keyser is the only Class AA team to beat Bridgeport since they moved down in 2012, doing it twice that year, but the Tribe rolled over a depleted Tornado team last year, 38-0.

Class A No. 2 East Hardy (7-0) at Berkeley Springs (2-5), Friday, 7 p.m.

The Hardy Bowl could not have gone better for East Hardy, who shellacked rival Moorefield, 63-6, last week, forcing six turnovers.

The Cougars, ranked No. 1 in Class A (SSAC), racked up 497 yards: Corey McDonald completed 13 of 26 passes for 192 yards and three touchdowns, two to Aden Funkhouser, and rushed 12 times for 98 yard and two more scores while Phillip Mullin rushed 12 times for 162 yards and two scores.

The Indians ended a four-game skid last week with a 42-28 win over Clear Spring (Md.).

East Hardy won last year’s game, 52-7.

Washington (0-7) at Class AAA No. 4 Musselman (6-1), Friday, 7 p.m.

Musselman, fourth in the SSAC rankings, turned on the jets after trailing 7-6 early to Hampshire, scoring 35 unanswered points.

Latrell Warr rushed for two touchdowns and caught another, while Tavion Fagan also rushed for two scores and Nate Tate caught a 40-yard score.

Washington fell to Spring Mills, 56-34, last week, extending their losing streak to 16 games.

The Patriots had leads of 6-0 and 13-6 before the floodgates opened.

Dimonyaeh Jennings had a 99-yard kick return for a touchdown and caught TD passes of 52 and 6 yards.

Musselman won last year, 37-13.

Class AAA RV Hedgesville (4-4) at Hampshire (0-7), Friday, 7 p.m.

Both teams are coming off of lopsided losses: Hedgesville gained just 51 yards of offense in a 63-0 loss to Martinsburg last week, while Hampshire finally broke after leading 7-6 early after a 16-yard Ritchie Stanley TD in a 41-7 defeat at Musselman.

The Eagles, though, are still in playoff position in 15th.

Hampshire took a 41-7 victory home with them last year in this series.

Petersburg (4-3) at Moorefield (4-3), Friday, 7:30 p.m.

Thanks to a 63-6 defeat at the hands of East Hardy, Moorefield’s lost three in a row for the first time since 2010, although all three of those opponents are currently undefeated.

The Jackets, now 15th in Class A, turned it over six times; their lone TD came on a 5-yard pass from Sloan Williams to Logan Mongold.

Javon Fawley rushed for 117 yards on 24 carries.

Petersburg, now tied for 20th in Class AA, dropped a 51-34 shootout at Frankfort last week.

Jacob Hartman passed for 341 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another for the Vikings.

Moorefield took last year’s meeting, 55-14.

Mountain Ridge, Md. (3-4) at Spring Mills (3-4), Friday, 7 p.m.

The Cardinals have won three of five games since an 0-2 start, most recently defeating Washington, 56-34.

Colton Henson ran for three touchdowns and passed for another, while Demetreus Jalepes scored on runs of 53 and 60 yards and also caught a late TD to keep the Cardinals in the playoff race in 19th.

Mountain Ridge lost to undefeated Northern Garrett (Md.) last week, 51-21.

Spring Mills took last year’s game, 24-13.

BYE: Frankfort (4-4) gets an extra week to savor a 51-34 win over Petersburg. On the ground, Dalton Pollock had 28 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns and Nate Strietbeck 110 yards on 10 carries. Carter Houdersheldt completed 10 of 16 passes for 204 yards and three touchdowns for the Falcons, who host Keyser in the annual Mineral Bowl next week. The Falcons are 19th in Class AA.
