Plea, sentence in Marshall County drug death

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — A woman pleaded guilty Friday in Marshall County Circuit Court to selling heroin to a man that caused his death.

Kimberly Evans pleaded guilty Friday.

Kimberly Evans entered the plea to the charge of involuntary manslaughter.

Ryan McGee was found dead in 2014 the day after buying the heroin.

Evans, who was originally charged with murder, was sentenced to a year in jail. She’s already serving time on a previous conviction.
