Preston deputies search for pharmacy robbery suspect

BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. — Deputies with the Preston County Sheriff’s Department are searching for an attempted robbery suspect who held up workers at a local pharmacy.

Surveillance video shows a white man police believe was armed with a pistol inside Bruceton Pharmacy just after it opened Thursday morning.

According to police, after the suspect demanded medicine from staff the pharmacist chased the suspect outside the store until he took off in a blue Subaru that was parked along Route 26.

The vehicle, with a broken driver side headlight, was last seen traveling north on Route 26.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chief Deputy P.A. Pritt or Captain R. V. Turner at 304-329-1611.
