Gold & Blue Lunch: Weekend picks will have WVU fans glowing

STILLWATER, Okla. — It’s Halloween weekend at Boone Pickens Stadium, where the likes of Freddy Krueger, Leatherface and Jason Vorhees are joined by a special subset of ghouls: the wall-thwacking Paddle People.

Just like Oklahoma State front-row fans making thumps in the night, the Friday edition of the Gold & Blue Lunch Report has its own tradition — offering up our final-score predictions for West Virginia and other marquee college games.

A decade since the Mountaineers went unbeaten this late into the season, they enter Saturday at No. 10 in the AP poll, and with another win, will factor prominently into Tuesday’s debut of the CFP rankings.
