Pair charged in connection with Grant County drug death

BAYARD, W.Va. — State police have charged two Grant County residents in connection with a man’s heroin-related death.

Troopers arrested Cody Stevenson, 25, and Amanda Bow, 21, both of Mount Storm, Saturday, on murder and drug charges.

According to troopers, Ryan Robinson, 33, of Bayard, was found dead in his home on May 2. An autopsy from the state Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death was an overdose of heroin laced with fentanyl. Stevenson and Bow sold the heroin to Robinson the night of his death, troopers allege.

They are both housed in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail without bail.
