Three dead in Wheeling fire

WHEELING, W.Va. — Three people are dead after an early morning fire in Wheeling.

The blaze broke out just after midnight this morning along McCulloch Street in Wheeling.   Authorities say one person was able to escape.

Reports indicate the victims are two children and their mother. The ages of the children are not known.

An investigator from the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s office is on the scene assisting Wheeling Fire Department and Wheeling Police investigators.
