Hubbs indicted in Lewis County; Lunsford delay also delays possible indictment

WESTON, W.Va. — The Lewis County Grand Jury’s November term comes to an end without an indictment against Lena Lunsford, who’s preliminary hearing in the death of Aliayah Lunsford has been delayed until Wednesday, November 16.

However, the Grand jury did indict 33 year old Ryan Ashley Hubbs of Paris, Ohio–the man arrested in connection with a car-jacking in Weston last month.

Police say Hubbs was on the run after stealing a car in Ohio when he carjacked a woman in Weston. She was uninjured.

Hubbs then traveled north where he was part of a double fatal accident in Marion County near the Whitehall interchange of I-79.

Authorities there are still determining whether to bring felony murder charges against Hubbs for that accident.
