Shooting death reported in Mercer County

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — A Mercer County man is dead following an argument at a home early Thursday morning.

Sheriff’s deputies said they responded to a dispute between neighbors on Appaloosa Street near Bluefield at around 1:15 a.m.

A 27 year old man was shot by another man, 30, and died from his injuries, deputies said.

The body was sent to the medical examiner’s office in South Charleston.

No arrests have been made and no names have been released.
