Logan building housing Mexican restaurant gutted in fire

LOGAN, W.Va. — A Friday morning fire destroyed a two-story building housing a Mexican restaurant in Logan, authorities said.

The blaze was reported at around 4 a.m. at a building on Cole Street next to the new state office building.

The bottom floor of the structure was occupied by the Mi Peublito Mexican restaurant.

There were no injuries. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
