Police: Huntington boy killed in dog attack

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A six-year-old boy was mauled to death by a dog in Huntington Friday evening, Huntington Police Chief Joe Ciccarelli said.

Huntington police detectives were investigating the attack Saturday afternoon and information was going to be turned to the Cabell County Prosecutor’s Office, Ciccarelli said.

WSAZ Television reports the boy and dog lived in the same household on 9th Avenue in Huntington.
