Republican team to meet at capitol Monday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Republican majority in West Virginia will meet at the state capitol Monday as U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito and other recently elected GOP members will discuss continued coordination between state and federal representatives.

Capito, Congressmen David McKinley, Evan Jenkins and Alex Mooney along with House Speaker Tim Armstead, Senate president-elect Mitch Carmichael, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, state Auditor-elect J.B. McCuskey, Secretary of State-elect Mac Warner and Commissioner of Agriculture-elect Kent Leonhardt are scheduled to speak with reporters after the meeting.

The news conference is scheduled for 10 a.m.
