Nicholas County deputies search for murder suspect

NETTIE, W.Va. — Nicholas County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man wanted in connection with a murder.

Terry Hughes, 44, is accused of fatally shooting Kevin Broyles, 45, Saturday night in Nettie.

There was an altercation on Bailes Road where deputies said Hughes produced a handgun and shot Broyles twice.

Broyles was pronounced dead at the scene.

A search warrant is out for Hughes.
