CHARLESTON, W.Va. — First responders pulled a body from the Kanawha River in Charleston Monday morning.

Police later said they didn’t suspect foul play. The man was a homeless. His name was not immediately released.

The body was spotted at shortly before 11 a.m. near Haddad Riverfront Park.

Charleston police and firefighters were on the scene. The body was sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
