Princeton police investigate shooting death

PRINCETON, W.Va. — A man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning, police said.

Princeton police are investigating the death of Jalen Wilfong, 21, of Princeton. He was shot at the intersection of Union and Lilly Grove. A friend drove him to the hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A gun was found at the scene, police said.

An investigation continues.
