MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Nicky Solomon scored 23 points to lead Morgantown over Fairmont Senior 58-47 Friday night in a battle of the Class AAA and AA defending state champions.
The Mohigans (5-1) led 25-16 at the half and 41-31 heading into the fourth. Torin Hanson added 17 points for Morgantown in the win as well.
Fairmont Senior (5-2) was led by Taevon Horton who scored 11 points in the loss.
