Man wanted for questioning in Pennsylvania murder arrested in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A man wanted for questioning in connection with a Pittsburgh area murder case was arrested Monday afternoon in Fairmont, authorities said.

Justin Bartlett was arrested Monday.

Justin Elliot Bartlett, 25, was taken into custody near the Rite Aid at about 1:15 p.m., the Marion County Sheriff’s Department said.

Allegheny County (Pa) police want to question Bartlett about the Saturday murder of Linda McGinnis. The 63-year-old was found dead in her Brackenridge, Pa., home. She had been stabbed to death, police said.

Bartlett was arrested Monday on outstanding warrants from a November case.

It’s also believed Bartlett spent part of the weekend in Mannington. He was spotted outside a grocery story Saturday. He may have spent the night at Katy Baptist Church. His car was recovered by police.

Few details were available Monday afternoon about Bartlett’s arrest in Fairmont.
