Martinsburg bank robbery under investigation

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Martinsburg Police hope the public will be able to help with clues on the identity and whereabouts of a bank robbery suspect.

The man walked into the City National Bank branch in the 200 block of Administrative Drive in Martinsburg just before 5 p.m. Friday armed with a box cutter. The suspect demanded money from the teller and fled. Nobody was injured.

He fled the scene and was last seen in a green vehicle leaving the parking lot of the Old Courthouse Square.

He’s descrsibed as a white male and wore an orange jacket with camo pants during the heist.
