MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Three high school prospects officially became midterm enrollees at West Virginia on Tuesday, bringing the early arrival count to 10 for the 2017 recruiting class.

South Charleston four-star safety Derrek Pitts, New Orleans three-star athlete Tevin Bush and Morgantown three-star fullback Maverick Wolfley signed letters of intent and enrolled.

Pitts, who spent three months as a Penn State commitment before flipping, earned all-state honors and received the Carl Lee Award recognizing the top defensive back in West Virginia. At 6-foot-2 and 179 pounds, he could play several safety spots including Spur.
