Morgantown bank robbery under investigation

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Morgantown police are investigated a possible armed robbery at BB&T on Chestnut Ridge Road.

Police Chief Ed Preston said detectives were pulling surveillance video from around 4:00 p.m. when a man allegedly walked in and demanded cash.

Investigators are unsure if a weapon was involved.

The only suspect description is a white man who is in his 40’s or 50’s.

His face was covered.
