Search continues for suspect in Huntington shooting

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — An early morning shooting Tuesday in the city of Huntington left one man dead and a second wounded.

Huntington Police say the shooting happened about 1 a.m. at a home in the 2700 block of 9th Avenue.

The victim who died was shot in the head. The second individual suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.  His wounds are not considered life threatening. Police have not released the names of the two victims.

A search is underway in Huntington to find the suspected shooter.
