Crews search for apparent missing man in Guyandotte River

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Cabell County rescue crews were on the waters of the Guyandotte River Saturday morning in search of what may or may not have been a man in the water.

The search was prompted after an early morning accident on I-64. A witness reported to 911 seeing a man running from the crash and the jumping over the side of a bridge above the river.

Authorities were unable to confirm the story but continued the river search.
