Charleston police arrested Bobby Hall, 42, and Misty Rucker, 38, less than 24 hours after the shootings. They were charged with Jett’s murder last week and were charged with Short’s murder shortly after her death Wednesday.

Short was in critical condition from the time of the shooting, Assistant Kanawha County Prosecutor Maryclaire Akers said.
