ONA, W.Va. — Spring Valley eliminated Cabell Midland from girls basketball sectional play Wednesday night with a 52-33 win over the Knights.

Spring Valley was led by Morgan Vaughn who scored 18 points, while Cabell Midland’s Faith Craddock scored nine points in the loss.

The Timberwolves erased a 12-10 deficit after the first quarter to take a 22-12 lead into the break. Spring Valley will face Huntington for the sectional title on Friday.
