One person, two firefighters injured in Jefferson County fire

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Three people were injured in an early morning fire Sunday in Jefferson County.

The fire happened around 3 a.m. at an apartment complex at 74 Pheasant Ridge Court in Shepherdstown.

One person and two firefighters were injured. It is unknown what their conditions are at this time.

Authorities with the Shepherdstown Fire Department said they estimate the damages are around $1 million.

It is now known how the fire began.
