Charleston teenager enters Kennedy plea for October 2015 shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – A Charleston teenager entered a Kennedy plea Friday for an October 2015 shooting that left one man dead.

Darius Coles, 19, allegedly shot and killed Dominic Clark on Ohio Avenue several times in the back and chest.

The plea is for voluntary manslaughter with the finding of a firearm.

Coles faces between three to 15 years in prison, which will be decided by Kanawha County Circuit Judge Tod Kaufman.

Coles’ sentencing is scheduled for April 24.
