Hundreds without power in Kanawha County following tree fall

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Hundreds of residents in Kanawha County are without power Tuesday after a tree knocked down power lines.

According to Appalachian Power, there are 680 reported outages near Winter and Lanham.

The Pinch Volunteer Fire Department said it is trying to figure out the extent of the damages.

Appalachian Power said it expects power to be restored by 10:30 p.m.
