GREEN VALLEY, W.Va. — A Mercer County woman pulled from a burning mobile home has died, authorities said.
The woman died Tuesday evening at the Cabell Huntington Burn Unit, according to Assistant Fire Marshal Scott Rodes. She was seriously injured Monday evening in the fire in Green Valley.
Capt. Joe Parks of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department stated that he had contacted the Cabell Huntington Hospital Burn Intensive Care Unit and was informed that Amber Terry, no age available, had died 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Members of three volunteer fire departments rushed Monday night to Woody’s Mobile Home Park in Green Valley after Mercer County 911 received reports of a structure fire. Officials initially said Terry was dead on arrival, but she was later revived at Princeton Community Hospital. She was transferred that evening to the burn unit in Cabell County.
