Police identify suspect in Clarksburg stabbing that injured three people Tuesday

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The Clarksburg Police Department is searching for Donald Keith Amos, 54, of Clarksburg, following a Tuesday night incident that resulted in three people being stabbed on Baltimore Avenue.

Police Chief Robbie Hilliard confirmed a warrant has been issued for Amos’s arrest.

Amos is accused of stabbing his girlfriend’s son and two bystanders acting as good Samaritans. The son of Amos’s girlfriend had reportedly told Amos he was no longer welcome in the home when the altercation broke out.

Police responded to the scene on Baltimore Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Two people were treated for injuries and taken to local hospitals.
