Fatal crash reported in Summers County

HINTON, W.Va. — A woman died following a single vehicle crash in Summers County Friday evening, authorities said.

The driver lost control her car on state Route 20 near Hinton at around 6 p.m. The vehicle slammed into a utility pole.

The victim was pronounced dead at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital, according authorities.
