CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Nearly 1,000 supporters of the oil and natural gas industry rallied at the state capitol Tuesday.
Many holding signs reading “Energy = good jobs in West Virginia” stood on the south side of the capitol and heard from Gov. Jim Justice and legislative leaders.
Those in the crowd called on the elected leaders to approve bills that would help the industry and create more jobs.
Lawmakers are discussing an industry-backed forced pooling bill.
