One dead, another injured in fight in Greenbrier County

LEWISBURG, W.Va. – A man is dead and another is hospitalized following a fight Tuesday in Greenbrier County.

The Lewisburg Police Department said officers were dispatched to the Perrine Apartments around 3 a.m. Upon arriving to the apartment complex, they saw a man lying in the parking lot with multiple stab wounds.

Officers said the two men involved in the incident shared an apartment, and stabbed each other during a fight.

The two men were taken to Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and then to Charleston Area Medical Center. One of the men died.

The police department is investigating the incident.
