2 injured in Kanawha City shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Charleston Police Department is investigating a Saturday shooting in the Kanawha City area.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. outside of the Knights Inn.

An unknown suspect shot a 15-year-old juvenile and 22-year-old Terrance Bonner.

Police said 10 to 15 shots were fired through the window of their hotel room.

According to authorities, the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

They were taken to Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital.
