Vice President Pence to speak with West Virginia small business owners

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Small business owners in West Virginia are getting a chance to talk with Vice President Mike Pence about their experiences.

Pence was scheduled to be in the Mountain State on Saturday afternoon.

He confirmed the trip on Twitter Friday evening.

Pence was due to arrive at the West Virginia National Guard’s 130th Airlift Wing base at Charleston’s Yeager Airport after 12 p.m. Saturday ahead of a 1 p.m. “listening session” in Putnam County with small business owners.

The site for that was Foster Supply in Scott Depot.

It is not a public event. Participants have been invited to attend.

Linda McMahon, administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration, was scheduled to accompany the Vice President.

Ron Foster, a Putnam County commissioner, owns Foster Supply. He is the spouse of Delegate Nancy Reagan Foster (R-Putnam, 38) and father to Delegate Geoff Foster (R-Putnam, 15).
