Kanawha County couple wanted for child neglect following fight, house fire

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a couple wanted following an incident Thursday in Mink Shoals.

Brad Acy Holley, 37, of Charleston, is wanted for child neglect creating risk of injury and wanton endangerment. Kama Holley, 33, of Charleston, is charged with child neglect.

According to the department, the couple’s 2-year-old son was found walking naked on Ferndale Drive. Neighbors called the police, and Holley took the child inside.

Holley was then confronted by his father-in-law over another child, a 4-year-old, who was found. Holley threatened his father-in-law, who is also his neighbor, and struck his face with a pistol.

When officers arrived, the Holley’s house was on fire. Two firefighters and Brad Holley were injured.

The fire marshal’s office is investigating what started the blaze.
