Missing Ohio woman identified as victim found in Barbour County; One suspect in court Wednesday

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — An Ohio woman reported missing in late March has been positively identified as the victim found in a wooded area near Volga on Saturday.

Keyairy Deshawn Wilson, 30, of Columbus, Ohio, had last been seen in the North View area of Clarksburg on March 20. Investigators believe that was also the day she was murdered by gunshot.

She had reportedly been staying with Daniel Claude Amsler, 53, and Elizabeth Lady Bird Jenkins, 51, both of Clarksburg. They have each been charged with felony murder and conspiracy charges.

The Barbour County Sheriff’s Department initially investigated the discovery of the remains found Saturday, but informed the Clarksburg Police Department when it was determined that they had no missing persons that might match the victim.

Jenkins will appear in Harrison County Magistrate Court in front of Magistrate Tammy Marple Wednesday, April 5 at 9 a.m.

Amsler will be in court Tuesday, April 11 at 11:30 a.m. in front of Magistrate Keith Marple for his probable cause hearing.
