One person dead after Kanawha County crash

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — One person died Thursday following a car accident in Kanawha County.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on MacCorkle Avenue in the Jefferson area, and involved a van and a car.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said the victim is a woman.

A second adult was taken to the hospital after the wreck. The individual’s condition is not known at this time.
