Logan woman killed in Kanawha County crash

JEFFERSON, W.Va. — A Logan County woman was killed in a traffic crash Thursday in Kanawha County, authorities said.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department released the name of Billie Carol Brown, 60, of Logan, Friday. She was in one of the vehicles that collided on U.S. Route 60 in the community of Jefferson Thursday afternoon.

The wreck occurred at around 3:30 p.m. and stalled traffic for a few hours. A van and car were involved.
