ATV wreck leaves 1 dead, 1 injured in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. — One person is dead and another injured after an ATV accident in Lincoln County.

It happened Friday on Route 37, according to State Police.

Troopers said a man and a woman were riding a four wheeler when they hit a fire hydrant. They were thrown off the ATV.

The woman, September Porter, was killed. The man was taken to a local hospital.

Alcohol may have been a factor, police said.
