Winning $1 million Powerball ticket sold in Shinnston

SHINNSTON, W.Va. — A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold over the weekend at a Go Mart in Shinnston, the West Virginia Lottery said.

The ticket purchaser matched five numbers from Saturday’s Powerball drawing. There was no jackpot winner in the drawing pushing Wednesday’s jackpot to $130 million.

According to the Lottery, the Shinnston ticket was the only one in the country to match five numbers in Saturday’s drawing.

The winning numbers were 22-23-24-45-62 and the Powerball was 5.

As of Monday morning, the Lottery was still waiting to hear from the owner of the ticket.
