Turnpike crash claims 2 lives

MABSCOTT, W.Va. — Two Raleigh County residents were killed in a collision on the West Virginia Turnpike in Raleigh County Monday evening, state police said.

According to troopers, Tammy Logan, 53, of Beaver, lost control of her northbound car near Mabscott at just before 5:30 p.m. The car went through the median and struck a southbound vehicle on the driver’s side being driven by Joshua Tuck, 30, of Daniels.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
