According to a criminal complaint, Woodrum wrote checks to himself from the female’s account and at stores so he could receive cash back.

In addition, he allegedly failed to file required annual reports with the Fayette County Circuit Court regarding managing the account.

More than $2,000 is misappropriated.

Woodrum faces felony charges of financial exploitation of an elderly person or incapacitated adult and embezzlement by a fiduciary. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of failing to file an annual report concerning his administration.

He was released on $10,000 bond.

The Detective Bureau of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
